WhiskyFest Chicago Speaker Ben Boice
Benjamin Boice is a Brand Ambassador for The Dalmore & Jura with Whyte & Mackay Americas. A Scotch whisky expert and a passionate presenter, Ben possesses 15 years working in and with the luxury spirits industry. Ben developed his love for Scotch whisky through bartending at a top steakhouse in Kansas City, Missouri while attending college. After graduation, Ben moved to Chicago, Illinois where he took a job managing and overseeing the bar program at Doubletree suites in downtown Chicago. Since then, Ben has overseen restaurants and developed bar programs with the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, The WIT Hotel by Doubletree, The Ritz Carlton Chicago (a Four Seasons Hotel), Four Seasons at Manele Bay, Hawaii, and Perennial Virant (with James beard award-winning chef, Paul Virant) with BOKA Restaurant Group. After recognizing his love of the Luxury Market and fine spirits, Ben took a position with BreakThru Beverage of Illinois where he was a Luxury Spirits Specialist representing both the Remy-Cointreau and Brown-Forman portfolios. In 2017, Ben jumped at the opportunity to represent the award-winning single malt whiskies from The Dalmore and Jura as a Brand Ambassador for Whyte & Mackay Americas. Ben currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife, Ashley, dog, Violet, and his ever growing whisky collection.
