Terry Sullivan is a free-lance writer with a specialization in spirits, wine, cocktails, travel, food, and anything else he can get a laugh with or a check for. He is a contributing writer for many publications including North Shore Magazine (Chicago), Plate Magazine and Whisky Advocate–and a regular essayist on city life, style, and things that generally annoy. He believes himself to be the only living writer whose work has appeared in both Brides Magazine and This Old House Magazine, although he’s particularly not proud of it.
He also sits on tasting panels, which isn’t as much fun as it sounds like. He serves as a judge for the occasional bartenders’ competition, creates new cocktails for money whenever anyone asks, and is available to type English prose at the drop of a glass.
