“This may be a simple cocktail,” says Seamstress creative director Pam Wiznitzer, who devised this recipe. “But all of the ingredients work together to create a well-rounded drink with the spice of the rye, the floral notes of the vermouth, and the pop of citrus and fruit from the juices.”

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ oz. rye whiskey
  • 1 oz. bianco vermouth
  • ¾ oz. lime juice
  • ½ oz. pineapple juice
  • ½ oz. demerara simple syrup (1:1 demerara sugar to water)
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Garnish: lime wheel, caraway seeds (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Shake all ingredients together with ice. Strain into a lowball glass and garnish with lime wheel and caraway.
