What are you drinking this 4th of July weekend?

June 30th, 2010

It’s a holiday weekend coming up here in the U.S. I’m starting to think about what I’m doing, where I’m going, and (especially) what I’m drinking!

I think it would be appropriate to celebrate Independence Day with a good bottle of (made in the U.S.A.) bourbon, but I haven’t decided which one (or ones) yet.

How about you? Drinking anything fun? (And don’t say a keg of But Lite, like my neighbors just did.)

Those of you outside of the U.S. are also welcome to join in here.

For the Fourth, I’ll be drinking Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey and New Belgium’s Ranger IPA!

I will be drinking Jim Beam made in 1961 and bottled in 1976. Bottled exactly 200 years after the Independence day :)

I think I’ll have some of the Tuthilltown Hudson Baby Bourbon from the barrel I bought (it’s in bottles). Great suggestion for a bourbon. I’ll have some Canadian tomorrow though (July 1st, Canada Day!!!)
Family gathering most likely will result in some Miller Lite being consumed… but I love your typo in bud light.. more appropriate with that T instead of the D.
We’ll also being consuming some home-brewed Rootbeer on tap.

The new supernova and some fireworks for me…
