San Francisco Seminars….Second Six
We’ve got TWELVE seminars lined up for WhiskyFest San Francisco, and they’re FREE, included in your ticket price.
Don Livermore, Master Blender with Pernod Ricard USA North American Whiskies, will present a seminar titled True North Rising: Telling the Untold Story of World-Class Canadian Whisky, during which guests will be able to sample staples like Lot 40 and JP Wiser’s 18 Year Old along with rare expression Pike Creek 10 Year Old and latest innovation Gooderham & Worts.
Robin Coupar, Global Brand Ambassador with Gruppo Campari, will present a seminar titled Glen Grant: The Rebirth of a Legend, which will explore the Glen Grant story from its origins to present day relaunch of the brand.
David Perkins, Founder of High West Distillery, will talk about Because Whiskey Matters – taste our core range deconstructed to learn how we think about blending and at the same time learn about the whys behind High West. You will taste High West’s core range and a few individual components, plus some yet to be released products, including their own Valley Tan, made on High West’s new Forsyths pot still at the world’s only distillery on a working cattle ranch.
Jessamine McLellan, National Brand Ambassador for Pernod Ricard’s Whiskeys of Midleton will discuss The Oloroso Cask: How Sherry Shapes Flavors, including an introduction to the newest member of the Redbreast family: Redbreast Lustau. Jessamine McLellan will be joined by Midleton Distillery’s Master Blender, Billy Leighton.
Seminars will also be presented by Colum Egan, Master Distiller, Old Bushmills Distillery and Rick Edwards, Master of Scotch, The Glenlivet.
