Sazerac’s debut Tennessee whiskey, made at its distillery in La Vergne. Dried herbs, cara- melized sugar, vanilla ice cream, and waffles with maple syrup on an aromatic nose. It’s mouth-coating and smoothly sweet on the palate, with more vanilla ice cream, banana, a zing of lemon, pepper spice, and some new oak. This one offers some wonderful flavors up front, but it’s a bit lacking in depth and still seems a bit young.
