Part of a series that focuses on oak types, in this case American. Plentiful aromas of toffee, vanilla, honeyed cereal, cherry cheesecake, bakery shop, and pleasant oak. The palate leads with oak but is also sweet and flavorful, with maraschino cherries, blueberry, chocolate, café crème, French toast, and peppery spice. The heat is well restrained on a long finish. Water is recommended, but it’s both smooth and thick with flavor. (Release date: 11/24).
