Containing Ardbeg matured in marsala dolce casks, there are aromas of ripe apricot, peat smoke, orange blossom, wet wool, iodine, orange fondant, apple pie filling, and a pinch of nutmeg. Creamy and fruity on the palate, with lemon curd, bitter orange, plum, and gentle pepperiness. Turning oily, it reveals papaya, cherry candies, cassia, licorice, and dried herbs, with a thick finish of cacao, sooty oak, nutmeg, and driftwood bonfires.
