Ardnamurchan Mezcal Cask Finished, 55%

While it’s funky and a bit damp on the nose, this light amber-colored dram has powerful flavor, with plenty of spicy serrano pepper and a bit of licorice. It’s toasty and considerably chewy, and water tames some of that spice while adding length to the finish. It also gets much sweeter, bringing out pecan pie.
