From the first pour, the added rye shines through giving a prominent and tingly spiciness to the nose. According to James B. Beam Distilling Co., this is made with twice as much rye as the standard Baker’s mashbill. While the nose is airy and spice-driven, caramel candies and apple cider create fall-friendly aromas.
