The palate is equally intriguing, with aged oak, baked apple, chocolate, and chile pepper. Water unlocks more fruit, butterscotch, and the pleasant mustiness of an old barrel. Good length on a finish that offers sweet raspberry, chocolate, balanced spice, and notes of barrel char.
