This 6 year old wheated bourbon leads with maraschino cherry, raisin, cinnamon-swirl ice cream, torched brown sugar, and vanilla milkshake on the nose. The palate has dark chocolate, barrel spice, cinnamon sugar, caramel, and hints of blackberry. It jolts awake on the finish with more chocolate and vanilla alongside moreish earthy flavors of cigar wrapper, cocoa nibs, leather, and dark berries. An easygoing and well-constructed sipper.
