The ice wine cask influence is apparent from the jump, fragrant with ripe berries, berry tart, rose water, sugar cookie, and vanilla frosting. A nice dash of white pepper kicks off the palate, which benefits from additional flavors of chocolate chile, candied ginger, and more ripe berries. The finish shines, led by rich flavors of mocha, chocolate ganache, molasses, and Black Forest cake.
