Bear Fight Kentucky Reserve Reposado Tequila Barrel Finished, 45%

The tequila cask influence is readily apparent in the aroma, as notes of cooked agave combine with vanilla bean ice cream, toasted nuts, and a hint of raisin. A little key lime pie and black pepper on the palate are more evidence of the cask finish: Vanilla notes take a back seat, but they’re still there. The finish is short and citrusy sweet, leaving little to be desired, but overall pleasant, especially for the tequila fans among us.
