Bernheim Barrel Proof (Batch C925), 59.2%

One of very few barrel proof wheat whiskeys on the market. Fresh grain on the nose, along with marshmallow, grape jelly, and earthy oak. Lots of berry sweetness on the palate, plus fresh bread, vanilla cake, honey, and dry spices. A fruity finish of blueberries, then dry grain and oak. Powerfully hot, but it holds its proof well, and the richness develops in the glass. Flavorful and fun.
