Gentle aromas of tangerine, pleasantly bitter lime peel, soft kiwi, grassy notes, blossom honey, whipped cream, and allspice. It’s light and lean, but the balance of tanginess to sweetness works. Melon and lemon bonbons, developing deeper honey notes, poached pear, citrus peel, then greater creaminess, with vanilla, barley notes, and gingerbread. A dram of softly spoken charms with a soothing finish of spice and soft oak tannins.
