This pays homage to New Orleans, which was one of Booker Noe’s favorite cities to visit. From the start, it’s a bourbon lover’s dream—a warming and well-spiced nose invites you back for more, where caramel, vanilla, raisin, confectionary sugar, strawberry jam, and dried fruit linger. The palate is searingly hot, but underneath that heat there’s a lot to love, including dark chocolate, barrel char, black coffee, and more dark dried fruit. Chocolate ganache, espresso, and truffle emerge on the finish, making this a big bourbon befitting the Big Easy.
