This whiskey has aged with grace. Opening with a lush nose leaning heavily on chocolate croissant, French toast, cinnamon bun, and cherry cola, the sweetness is balanced by layered and inviting woodsmoke. The palate brings in deeper flavors of charred oak, boiled and salted peanuts, and light forest floor along with sweetness. It sips easily, with a weighty body and well-restrained heat. The finish is chocolaty and dense with spice.
