A shy nose that tends toward doughy aromas: saffron buns with lightly sprinkled spices, coconut-flaked vanilla macaroons, Nilla wafers, and rice pudding, plus chalky candy cigarettes and talcum powder. Graham cracker, Luden's cherry cough drop, candied orange peel, and vanilla on the palate; the flavors are nice, if simple. Chocolate-cherry cordial, cinnamon, and toasted almonds to finish. An uncomplicated pour.
