A one-off 54 year old expression from a 1967 European oak butt, 1968 sherry butt, and 1968 American oak hogshead, the nose whispers of soft oak, dark chocolate, peat smoke, treacle, fruitcake, and black cherry, with worn wooden workshop tools, forest honey, and walnuts in syrup. Baked orange, grapefruit, lychee, and honey on the palate, with wood spices, soft oak tannins, cocoa powder, praline, cinnamon toffee, and gentle wisps of smoke. More grand tourer than hypercar.
