Dark fruit flavors on the nose, namely raisins and prune juice, along with maple syrup, vanilla frosting, and plenty of baking spice. The palate is hot at first, but not overwhelmingly so, and it delights with Rolos, Milk Duds, and chocolate fudge. Eventually, that coffee liqueur barrel finish starts to shine through by way of chocolate-covered espresso beans and mocha latte. The finish brings to mind a scoop of coffee ice cream packed with chocolate chips.
