Aged in oloroso sherry and bourbon casks and finished in first-fill marsala casks, this is elegant, fruity, and well-balanced. Notes of dried apricot, dried strawberry, mango strips, spring florals, fresh linen, seasoned oak, and vanilla sponge on the nose. The ‘wow’ moment is on the palate, where cinder toffee, walnut, fruitcake, gingersnap, oak, vanilla essence, sherry fruit, and espresso foam really impress, leaving a drying finish of cocoa.
