Bushmills 30 year old, 46%

Distilled in 1992 and spent its last 16 years of maturation in first-fill PX sherry casks which give this whiskey a nose of dried strawberries, blueberries, raisins, and chocolate-covered toffees. There’s a sticky PX mouthfeel, with prune juice, morello cherry, dried fig, peppery spice, and clove, adding more pronounced prune flesh, dried vine fruits, vanilla essence, and citrus peel notes before a soothing finish of buttered fruitcake with a spicy kick.
