Buzzard's Roost Smoked Barrel (Batch 1), 52.5%

Buzzard’s Roost launched its first rye in 2019, and this new smoked barrel version is intense from the first sip, with tons of dark-roasted coffee that play with sweet notes of honey, a touch of herbs, citrus, and wood, along with bracing licorice and earthy spices. The finish is considerably long. Water brings out some fruity notes. This is a big, bold whiskey with good balance.
