Carlyle 12 year old Master Blender's Selection, 40%

Comprising 20 whiskies aged in bourbon barrels, this opens with a sweet and citrusy nose of caramel, vanilla wafers, lemon meringue, lime zest, burnt orange, and marzi- pan. It has a fairly light-bodied yet flavorful palate, with baked peach, apricot slices, lemon tart, orange sorbet, and gently spiced orchard fruits. The fruits carry over to the finish, joined by malt and chocolate chips.
