This is a delicious sip, even if the nose is a little uninspiring, thanks to its notes of new modeling clay, fresh parsley, aniseed, peppercorn, chile flake, graham cracker, and grass cuttings. This refill bourbon barrel whisky is light and creamy with plenty of grain character, and flavors of lemon curd, apricot, fragrant spices, vanilla shortbread, lime zest, and a little oak, with banana chip and wood spices on the finish.
