Earthy on the nose, with notes of grape juice, raspberry syrup, pepper spice, and a hint of bitter chocolate. Sweet on the palate, with new oak and a bit of youth, along with cinnamon toast, pronounced chocolate, coffee, and lingering spice. While this one does seem young, it offers enough friendly flavor combinations to make it an interesting and pleasant sipper.
