The nose of this Texas bourbon is redolent with freshly baked peanut butter cookies, wax paper, baking spice, semi-sweet chocolate, cinnamon muffin, and Honey Nut Cheerios. A bit of ripe berry sweetness comes through the longer you stick with it. Raisins, dark chocolate, and peanut butter are front and center on the terrifically textured palate, which has palpable heat. Chocolaty until the very end, the finish is rich with brownie batter, flourless chocolate cake, and fresh raspberries.
