On the nose, there’s buttered popcorn, berry cobbler, and a healthy pinch of black pepper, all underpinned by charred oak, creating rustic and punchy aromas. The palate is fruitier, with peaches in syrup, strawberries, and honey, tempered by cinnamon spice, freshly baked bread, and drying charred oak. The finish is long and a touch hot, but the flavors are well defined: caramel and dark chocolate slowly fade.
