Chattanooga Experimental Single Batch Series Single Pot Still Straight Malt (Batch 047), 47.5%

A Tennessee twist on Irish single pot still, distilled from malted and unmalted barley and malted oats. It has a relatively breakfast-like nose featuring honeyed oatmeal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Nesquik chocolate powder. The palate bears familiar flavors of French toast, oatmeal cookies, and rich dark chocolate, which also show up on the finish joined by nutmeg and cumin. Pleasant, but a bit hot for the proof at times.
