Chivas Brothers 12 year old, 40%

Matured in bourbon and sherry casks, this uses a recipe with Strathisla as a key malt. The nose has juicy orange, satsuma peel, honey, and vanilla, with hints of green apple and white pepper. Light-textured on the palate, with plenty of fresh citrus, caramel, dried apricot, tart shells, and vanilla sponge; it dives into candied orange at the swallow, with toffee and orange peel on the finish.
