Finished in Panamanian rum casks, this sourced whiskey was initially matured in bourbon barrels. A rather attractive nose balances ripe cantaloupe, dried pear, caramel- ized apple, gooseberry, and kiwi, with caramel, vanilla fudge, butterscotch, and marshmallow. Sweet and fruity, with Starburst, banana taffy, stone fruits, grapefruit, baking spice, apple, porridge, and hints of milk chocolate. A chewy finish of dried fruit and vanilla. There’s a lot to like here.
