The smoke on this peated whisky from Loch Lomond Distillery is woody, like burning old seasoned logs, and joins gentle notes of cherry, orchard fruit, peppermint, allspice, and Brazil nutshells. Apple, butterscotch, vanilla, white chocolate, clove, and pepper on the palate, with hints of coffee, showing more orchard fruit as it dilutes. The fruit truly shines in this young whisky with the addition of a few drops of water. (72 bottles)
