The nose is worth spending a bit of time on, as there are complex notes of red apple, quince paste, pomegranate, dried cranberry with some savory undertones, white pepper, and underlying grain notes. The palate is warming, fruity, and smooth, with red apple, strawberry, pepper, and clove, evolving into notes of toffee, crushed nuts, and apple peelings. A dash of water works well here. (36 bottles)
