Copperworks Special Release Single Cask (No.7-2), 65.6%

An earthy nose produces scents of pine needles, spearmint, tobacco smoke, freshly mowed grass, sweet vanilla bean, and a fistfu of fresh herbs. There’s lovely black pepper spice on the palate, though it’s soon overtaken by more pine needle, Moroccan mint tea, tobacco leaf, and toasted marshmallow. Spearmint, Andes chocolates, smoke, and yes, even more pine, make for an excellent, herbaceous finish.
