Corbin Cash Merced Rye Small Batch Rye, 45%

Farm distillers, the Souza family, have worked their Central Valley, California farm since 1917 and began distilling in 2007. Lime and other citrus notes up front on the nose, along with rustic rye grains, Grape Nuts, orange, licorice, and anise. A rounded palate, sweet but balanced, dark berries, undernotes of savory rye spice, espresso, and cocoa powder. Well textured with chocolaty depth. The finish is long and flavorful, with rich, compact flavors. (Release date 02/22)
