Honey, creamed coconut, crisp barley, granola, gentle wood spices, shortbread, and a few green herbal notes on the nose. The palate is rich and smooth, with toffee, caramel, and citrus, then a big pulse of cask strength alcohol floods the taste buds with aniseed and peppery spice. In the aftermath, there are strawberry creams, baked orange, guava, and crystalized pineapple. Water is recommended, but it curbs some of its individuality. (1,200 bottles for the U.S.)
