Dalmore Select Edition 15 year old (Distilled 2010, Bottled 2025), 49.1%

Released in March as a pair alongside a 2007-distilled expression. It was matured mainly in bourbon barrels, along with some apostoles and amoroso sherry casks sourced from Gonzalez Byass. Pine, mint tea, earthiness, candle wax, a hint of rancio, and fragrant aged oak on the nose. On the palate, peach tart, baked berries, and light spice. A long finish of chocolate and musty oak. Smoothly textured, beautifully aged, and syrupy but balanced.
