This aged blend is split into two batches; one finished in oloroso sherry casks, the other in peated Islay casks, before being reunited. The earthy peat smoke leads the aromas, with chocolate frosting, vanilla pod, and underlying notes of flowers, honey, and dried fruits. A fruitier palate with dried apricot, mango, mandarin, and honey intermingles with smoke, then vanilla, fudge, praline, and poached pears in cream leaving a mouth-coating finish.
