Dense and complex, with lots to explore from the dark toffee, molasses, woodsmoke, vanilla bean, and smoked orange notes to the granola, caramelized nuts, lemon, ground almond, and floral highlights. It’s reminiscent of a rich chocolate dessert on the palate, with added red apple, plum, peppercorns, and a hint of clove, then cocoa powder and black cherries. A lengthy finish of cocoa, dark chocolate, and coffee grounds, with wisps of smoke.
