Matured in refill American and European oak casks and finished for over 20 years in amoroso-seasoned American oak hogs- heads, the nose has smoky bacon, maple syrup, driftwood, vanilla, pepper spice, and a briny coastal character. Rich caramel, vanilla, stone fruits, marmalade peels, and peppery spice; it’s got the mellowness of old Taliskers, with graham cracker, malt, and galia melon, and a dry finish of lingering fruitiness, peat smoke, and pepper.
