Initially matured in American oak hogsheads, then married in European oak puncheons, this has aromas of antique wood, vintage bookshop, honeysuckle, dry oak, banana chip, and white pepper, opening up to more fruitiness of pear, crisp green apple, and apple pie. Sweet, creamy, and succulent on the palate, with honey, apple, cinder toffee, and banana custard, then peach, nutmeg, malt, and a dollop of vanilla ice cream on a thick, creamy finish.
