This is intriguing and invites closer inspection, as savory layers of peppercorn, dried herbs, and leather wrap around red apple and blackberry aromas. Tarragon stands out among the herbal notes, and pot still spices mingle with flavors of stewed fruits, dried banana, rowanberry jelly, hazelnut butter, and nutmeg. Matured in a ratio of 59% bourbon barrels, 33% oloroso sherry casks, 4% Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and 4% red wine casks.
