Spiced apples and cinnamon rolls leap from the glass, backed by punchy candied ginger and herbal cough drop aromas. On the palate, fruity, spicy, and slightly medicinal notes are overpowered by cinnamon sugar and new oak, throwing the whiskey a little out of balance. With water, the cinnamon is subdued and the flavor is filled out with Christmas spices and toasted oak. The finish is heavy on the cinnamon but fades slowly with a pleasant prickle of spice.
