Douglas Laing Old Particular (distilled at Jura), 47.9%

Price: 146 Issue: Summer 2015 Reviewer: Gavin Smith Category:

This example of Jura was distilled in March 1992 and filled into hogshead #10362. After 22 years, it yielded 282 bottles. The nose is rich, fragrant, and mellow, with vanilla, and peaches and cream. Viscous and malty on the palate, with toffee, hessian, and background nuttiness, along with a faint hint of ozone. The finish dries slowly, with soft wood spices.£100
