Dunbrody Small Batch Bourbon Cask, 43%

Made from 71% corn, 20% rye, and 9% barley, the nose has vanilla sugar, English muffin, summer florals, cornbread, hay, and white pepper. The palate starts quietly with vanilla, honey, walnut, and fine peppery spices. The American oak character comes through as toasted oak mingles with granola, and there’s a greater intensity from the honey. An impressively long finish too, with flavors similar to the palate.
