Peated to 35 ppm, the decade of maturation was split equally between time in Bordeaux red wine casks then dark moscatel casks. The result is punchy fragrant smoke, toffee cake, cinnamon, apple Danish, ground ginger, mango, and papaya on the nose. Warm cinnamon buns, toffee, vanilla, walnut, a gentle pepperiness wrapped in smoke, baked fruits, oak, and more spicy complexity on the finish. (7,200 bottles)
