Eight Settlers Devil's Gate Small Batch (Batch 19), 45%

Lime, some new wood, and lots of sweet citrus on the nose. It’s a bit hot on the palate, with vanilla and light berry notes, but overall it is a bit spiky at times. The finish is also quite barrel forward, though with some fruit and a hint of dark chocolate on the back end. A solid whiskey, though perhaps more aging would help it mellow a bit more.
