The first of three annual batches. Aged oak, leather, chocolate, and lively cherries on the nose. A big, robust whiskey, chewy and thick, with dark chocolate and caramel flavors. Water or ice will tame it, unlocking more of those integrated flavors, accented by orange and berries, baking spice, tart herbs, and pepper. Generous marshmallow, chocolate, caramel, and mellow oak on a very long finish.
