The latest edition of this rye, which was our 2025 Whisky of the Year, is a study in deliciousness. Aromas of cinnamon roll, cloves, toasted marshmallow, and light red berry greet the nose. The palate is rich but, while hot, never overbearingly so; it’s made mouthwatering by custard sweetness, caramelized sugar, all manner of cinnamon pastry, and torched orange peel. More spice follows on the finish, accented by milk chocolate and mocha latte; endlessly enjoyable.
